# Channels — Overview

> Connect your Agent to the channels where your customers are: WhatsApp, Instagram, Widget, Telegram, and Slack.

A **Channel** is the bridge between the AI Agent and the messaging platform used by the customer. Timely.ai supports multiple simultaneous channels — all Conversations arrive centralized in the Inbox, regardless of origin.

Timely.ai offers five channel types, each with its own configuration characteristics and features.
